About Hayvn

Hayvn is an idea that has been on my mind for a while. After having seen the day-to-day management of vacation rentals 'by hand' based on Excel files and approximate communication, I thought that a platform to manage this kind of thing must surely exist.

So, yes, it exists. And yes, it costs an arm and a leg for not much. The price of these platforms is generally not a reflection of the added value they bring to you as a regular user: often, the majority of users only use a small part of the software, and a few users use complex features that require dozens or hundreds of people to make everything work. As a result, the 'simple' users end up paying for those who use the system extensively.

If you need a multi-channel integration with Airbnb, Google Bookings, and others, a super complicated website designing tool, advanced accounting, and CEO-worthy reporting, then the complicated platforms are probably worth it...

But if your needs are simpler, are you willing to pay incredible amounts just to manage an online calendar and accept bookings? I'm not.
